Provides increased gripping force with less jaw distortion. Opposing adjusting screws for "dead true" accuracy. Fine adjustment. Semi-steel body. Chuck body is made of high quality cast iron. All guide ways and bearing surfaces are precisely machined. Scroll plate is drop forged of fine alloy steel and carefully case hardened. Thread flanks are ground on both sides.
