10" Semi-Universal Dividing Head Set Vertex # BS-1 Hole through the spindle is 0.787". Spindle Taper is MT3. Dividing head can divide in any angle by the direct, indirect or other methods. Features easy indexing of divisions from 2 to 50 and most numbers up to 380. Hardened and ground spindle is rigidly held in a taper roller bearing. Ruggedly constructed hardened and ground worm gear. The swivel head can be locked at any angle from 10 degrees below horizontal to 90 degrees vertical allowing for a precision fit to the base assuring smooth rotation. Provides high accuracy with little backlash for a smooth rotation. The included adjustable tailstock allows you to work on various size workpieces. Threaded spindle nose and 24 hole dividing plate provides easy conversion to fast direct indexing on numbers 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24. The included dividing plates enable you to use different sizes. Set includes head, center, dog and backplate for mounting a 3-jaw chuck. Optional front mount 3-jaw chucks that are available include a 4" #3800-5820, a 5" #3800-5821 and a 6" #3800-5822.
